“My theme for my Sculptures was “Stay at Home Mum/Wife.” I wanted to communicate the pressure behind being a stay at home mother, looking glamorous while keeping the household presentable and raising children at the same time. When I was a little girl, playing house was my favourite thing. I just assumed all women had children and stayed home all day. As I grew up I realised this was just a stereotype and it wasn't as glamorous as I thought.
"I am more than just my face" - photography by Mitsuko Nagone heavily influenced my work as you never saw the models' faces, and all the models were female and held domestic items."
