Artstart Ambassador

Are you passionate about the arts, young people and eager to make a difference? Whether you’re an individual looking to champion young creatives or a business aiming to support the arts, the Artstart Ambassador Programme offers a unique and exclusive opportunity to get involved and make an impact in your community.

This is your chance to be one of a select few representing Artstart and enjoy unparalleled access to our exhibitions and alumni collection. Limited to 15 ambassadorships per exhibition city (Auckland/ Tāmaki Makaurau, Wellington/ Te Whanganui a Tara, and Christchurch/ Otautahi).

Friends of Artstart

Our Friends are the backbone of Artstart - a community of generous art lovers, passionate about supporting the next generation of artists in Aotearoa.

Friends membership perks:

Double pass to our exclusive opening night (your choice of Ōtautahi / Te Whanganui a Tara or Tamaki Makaurau).
Early access to our Exhibition Catalogues (a digital copy will be emailed out 4 days prior to opening night allowing you to eagerly peruse the collection from the comfort of your own home).
A voucher for one A4 print of your choice to either redeem online or at the exhibition.

Make a Donation

We are incredibly grateful to receive donations from amazing people like you, to support our mission to give young Aotearoa artists a creative future. Your support enables this programme, giving talented secondary school visual artists the opportunity to show their work and experience being a professional artist.

And, as a registered New Zealand charity, you can claim back a third of your donations from IRD!

Volunteers

Our volunteers are a huge part in making the Artstart regional exhibitions happen. Our volunteers are rare individuals that form the extended staff team and help us carry out our mission.
