Sienna O'Shannessey

“A huge part of my life has been the ocean. Growing up, it was my backyard. We have a batch in Kaikoura where I surf below our marae that looks out over the waves of Mangamanu. Within my art, I try to convey my strong connection and sense of belonging to the sea. My artworks are landscapes with the texture and tones of the ocean. The slight transparent look depicts the ever-changing depths of colour from the sea, sky, and beyond."
