“I'm interested in figurative studies of personal spaces with still life elements which give a sense of nostalgia and calm. I create compositions which include images and spaces which appeal on an instinctual level. They are introspective and at times surreal – drawing upon the subconscious. The muted and harmonious palate I find aesthetically pleasing, I am generally a reflective individual and this work tries to express those ideas.”
