Myah Sadler

The main message I want to communicate through my art to viewers is the trapping and vulnerable feelings of attachment. Attachment can feel very lonely and imprisoning especially in love. My art aims to encapsulate the lonely, confusing and clingy feelings of love and attachment, and the will-testing journey of bettering and detaching oneself. It shows the feelings of despair and longing for an attachment within a romance and how lonely attachment can cause one to be. Throughout past romantic relationships, attachment is a recurring issue for me and where there is attachment, loneliness follows. Although I have found ways to correct these issues, they are still things I struggle with and so I expressed these ideas through my art, because as my art progressed, so did I along with it.
