“Throughout my artworks I portray in creative, unique ways, the concept of comfort food. The paintings I create depict complex visual images of people’s appreciation and addiction to comfort food, emotions portrayed throughout my artworks are despair, emptiness and the feeling of being trapped.

I have struggled in the past with food, the seemingly reliable source of comfort took a toll on my mental and physical health and I felt that as I was consuming the food, it was, in a way, consuming me.”
