My paintings are mainly based around an exploration of different techniques and aesthetics that I am interested in. I am someone who had a mainly mathematical and scientific interest, and hadn't spent much time making art before high school. This has led to much of my work being quite geometric, although more recently I have moved into experimenting with a more abstract and loose style. This work definitely leans towards the more precise and mathematical side of my practice, as it is a perspective based piece which was plotted out using a ruler and pencil, and consists of solid colours with no gradients or gradual transitions between colours.
