Jade Culverwell

My art seeks to capture everyday moments in life, highlighting both their simplicity and underlying complexity. I achieve this by painting in a realistic way that is then able to show the detail and accuracy of the image which the audience is then able to connect and relate to in some way. My passion and interest is Architecture and is the course of study I am pursuing this year at University. With having this strong interest with also having taken DVC as a subject in high school I have always been interested in housing and buildings as well as the environment that they are within. This is the subject matter that appeals to me most because of my interests in architecture and is what my artworks display.
