“I wanted to communicate sentimentality for the past and child perception, I wanted to portray this radiant period and place that enraptured you. This distorted perception shows my personal recollection of memories and meanings of the past, the transition between childhood and adulthood. A fluorescent colour palette, such as bright yellows, pinks and greens can feel energising and familiar, a longing feeling for the past when things appeared to be better, painless and more fun."
