"My work is about water, and it explores how water is found everywhere and links almost everything. Water is a crucial resource all living things need, yet people have also learned to harness water for activities and reap even more benefits. Water is also unpredictable and is a force to be reckoned with like with rain and rivers. While we see what’s above the water, there is also a land of its own below.
All this contributes to the meaning that we cannot truly understand something or grasp something’s potential until we explore all parts of it. My art represents this idea because the viewer can look at one of my paintings by itself and see a moment in time where the water is not the main focus."
