“My work explores the history of the Hutt Valley - where I live. In particular it explores the places in the Hutt Valley that are special to me. I would hope that viewers would be taken on a journey as I merge past with present and developed ideas that represent the Hutt Valley from my perspective. I’m inspired by Scott Christian Sava - I love his creativity and his willingness to explore new things. Hinehauone Coralie Cameron inspired me through her prints so I cooperated printing in my portfolio. I was also inspired by John Rundle - A friend of my grandparents and NZ artist, I have always admired his skill."
