“I want my art to be able to transport viewers into the instant that moment was taken. I want them to be able to feel the emotions of the picture and grasp the understanding that the photo may have only been an instant, but every photograph has a backstory or a history. My personal history involves a lot of traveling. Ever since I was little, I have been on airplanes, in cars, and on trains going to new places or visiting familiar ones. This background of traveling has helped me shape the way I take photographs because it made me interested in the journey that takes place as well as the destination.”
