“Through my 2021 art, my intention was to reflect the internal processes of the mind through physical forms. I chose to use flora as this physical medium, as I felt the seemingly endless natural occurring variety of colours, textures, shapes and functions as well as the way that different individual plants come together to work in synergy, closely mimicked the function of our brains.

Our minds are layered, busy and often we become overwhelmed with different parts all screaming different messages. Sometimes they work in harmony but other times it just becomes too much."
