This piece is a remembrance of Bart, the bulldog. Inspired by my Grandparents favourite photograph of him, I have created a realistic oil portrait, capturing his engaging and charismatic personality. This painting brings him to life through the canvas and produces a sense of connection and peace for the recipient. It communicates that we should always cherish our time with our loved ones and appreciate the beauty of life. I am a painter who uses the natural world to shape my artwork. I'm fascinated with the complexity of animals and organisms, this is why I am currently studying towards a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Ecology and Biodiversity, as well as, majoring in Communication Design.
