Ambassador Collection - Oli Aikawa

"Firstly I would like to say thank you to Sophie and Charlotte who have been supporters of my art since 2019! That's pretty crazy! They are a big reason why I have continued to make art. 

I am a 20 year old artist and architecture student from Christchurch based in Wellington. The world is an amazing place, opportunities are endless, and I believe I can do anything I put my mind to. That's what my art is about. Self belief. In life we are both our biggest enemies but also our greatest allies. I think it is up to yourself to choose which side of the pendulum you want to be on. It is so much more enjoyable when you choose to be your own best friend. 

My next steps are for an exhibition I have on the 21st of February in the Sumner Surf Life Saving Club, in Christchurch which is based on the idea of the New Zealand Dream. Furthermore, I have a goal to move to Melbourne in 2026 to complete my Masters of Architecture."
