“I want the viewer to make a connection, to see something in my artwork that they relate to or want to relate too. I want it to inspire a memory or a feeling or even inspire an action. I want each person to relate differently to my art whether it be the colour, shape or subject, I just want people to look at it and feel connected to the art whether they are an artist or not.

At the moment my current painting practice is about my childhood batch. The development and abstraction of my work begins to symbolise my growth away from childhood as I am growing up and moving away next year for university. I think something else that comes into play with my art generally is that I was never gifted at art growing up so I work really hard to learn and to practice. I think this constant learning makes my art fluid and always changing."
